Today is my 65th birthday.
This means that I’m old enough to remember Bobby Pickett’s original record from my teen days.
That was actually fun to listen to.
Even now, all these years later, it still is.
Back then, I even had Bobby Pickett’s LP, with a bunch of other songs in the same “vein” (sorry, I couldn’t resist); I actually remember some of them still (my favorite was “Me And My Mummy”, a romantic ballad).
To Jonathan:
I’ll make the guess that you’re probably younger than I am.
That’s no excuse.
THIS – what you’ve posted – is an atrocity.
In the name of (relative) sanity, would someone who knows how please post the Bobby ‘Boris’ Pickett original?
Or in lieu, perhaps the cover that Boris Karloff performed on Shindig?
I’ll let you stay on my lawn …
