Tough to improve on a classic, or maybe I’m just getting old, but the 2003 version can’t hold a candle to the original. Another “hidden gem” from that era was Jim Stafford’s Swamp Witch.
The mother of a friend of mine babysat Pickett. That’s about as close as I have come to the famous.
Thanx and a tip of the Hatlo hat.
I’d forgotten just how far back that was: 1962 (!) I was all of 12.
Anyway, Steve, give yourself the credit for putting this up. I couldn’t if I tried.
And you’re welcome on my lawn any time. Of course, I live on the sixth floor …
