I’m pretty familiar with their discography but I don’t recognize this particular performance though I do have other faves. They appear to be playing outside in this one. The source composition, probably the best score for any WWII documentary. Heard it often in treatments of D-Day. But even without the Aaron Copland connection, ELP’s own songs are of a type one just doesn’t hear anymore, (and you can’t describe to anyone what they’re missing if they don’t know it). ELP is never played anywhere anymore, despite their critical acclaim. It’s a sign of how vigorous the constant churn of US popculture is: never allowing anything to persist no matter how signal. Same thing with other great groups like CSNY or The Band. Neither Copland –or ELP –are ‘re-consumable’ products; they don’t fit today’s rapid-fire playlists, DJs, or corporate-enforced radio uniformity. Both artists yield lengthy structures; thematic, thought-provoking poetic stuff alien to today’s mindset. The audience has fallen off this plateau and can’t get back.

No, nobody’s making music like this anymore, or if they are, I’d like to know about it. They’re certainly not playing it anywhere, nowhere at all.
