This British singer’s backup band on this 1971 album, her second, consisted largely of former Parliament-Funkadelic musicians.

Seventy One, all right. I might have liked it then, but it’s not my thing now, I’m afraid.

I liked some songs on this album, others I didn’t. Copeland made only more album, which was in 1976. It didn’t do well, and she left the music business.
Her one claim to fame may have been that she was the first white female singer to work with some of the recording labels she did.
