This song is from their CD The Mountain, released in 1999. Joining in on this track are Emmylou Harris, Gillian Welch, Marty Stuart and Cowboy Jack Clement, among others.

We saw Steve Earle in two different benefits last year: the Lampedusa Concert for Refugees with Emmylou Harris, Robert Plant, and Buddy Miller; and his own benefit for the Keswell School, where his autistic son goes, with Graham Nash and Shawn Colvin. Both were at Town Hall and both were great.

I envy you. Shawn Colvin is another singer whose career I’ve followed since she started, back in the 1980s.
