I quickly went through the list of books I’ve read since 1993 to see potential additions to my earlier list and came up with quite a few. I tried to pick books I really liked when I read them, though I might not choose them today, if that makes any sense. In any case, they are more or less chronological from when I read them (except if there is a second book by the same author).

Minette Walters, The Sculptress
Reginald Hill, Exit Lines
Mary Willis Walker, Zero at the Bone (also Under the Beetle’s Cellar)

I don’t know about anyone else, but while I own copies of all of the above, there are far, far too many of them I have not read.
This is a fact that’s almost too painful to admit.
By the way, the last book of these that I obtained, I don’t actually have yet. Without seeing Jeff’s list until this morning, I bought both of Alan Beechey’s comic mysteries from a couple of Amazon sellers last night.

Okay, I still like his list.

When a list is called MY FAVORITES, you can’t really ague with the selections. If someone calls a list TOP TEN OR FIFTY OR HUNDRED BOOKS EVER WRITTEN, discussion is demanded. So, not much to discuss here, though my reading tastes differ. Congrates on updating your list. It was fun to peruse.

Quite a few of the same writers (not always titles) as my own list. Can’t believe I forgot Gores. Truth be told I could do 500 titles easily and still be crowding a few out.
A few new ones on here too. Always something new to check out …
