( I’m a bit on edge since the 6.4 earthquake at 10.33am local time in Southern California, even though it was just a kind of rolling motion. It was centered 150 miles away.
Felt like being on a small boat moored in a marina in a gentle swell. Still, earthquakes always make me wonder…
Always a 5% chance it’s a pre-shock of a much bigger one)
Yesterday’s 6.4 was a foreshock to tonight’s 7.1.Richter scale is a geometric progression so it’s around 10 times stronger than yesterday’s, if my math is correct.
Still no damage at my place.

Very very scary, Rick. Hope the aftershocks end soon!

The afterschocks are centered too far away to be felt where I am, thank goodness.
Kind of a Mother Nature Fourth of July firework…boom.
I guess.

Jonathan who lives in Burbank just called me to tell me about it too. No damage where he is either. Scary is an understatement!!
