I have several posts that I could have chosen from to upload today, but there’s been too much to plan ahead for, and I’ve simply run out of time. I have to be at the hospital tomorrow morning at nine. I’m not looking forward to rehab, but as I’ve told some of you already, I’ve gone as far with this hip as I possibly could.
I don’t know when I’ll be back at full blogging strength again, but look for short updates here every once in a while. As soon as I can!

Best of luck with your surgery, Steve. I hope you recover from it quickly and not too painfully.
Cheers,
Jeff

Good luck to you, will keep you in thoughts and prayers. Hips are usually an easier recovery than knees, they’ll probably have you up and moving the next day
Have a quick recovery!

Steve, Keep focused on a successful recovery. You are your best advocate, and remember the doctors and the entire medical staff are working for you. Best wishes and prayers that everything goes off without a hitch.
We all expect you to come out of this with a new spring in your step.

Good luck, Steve. Jackie had a full knee replacement six years ago and is happy she did. They say the hip recovery is a lot easier, and I hope they’re right.

Since everybody has expressed Linda’s and my own thoughts already, I’ll just add “Ditto.”

I had back surgery in November, haven’t hit the hip replacement yet. Take your time and recover. We will all still be here.
My Mom broke hers and was in Rehab about six weeks, hopefully replacement will be a little shorter.
Pack some good books for when you feel up to reading again. You’ll be up and running circles around the rehab in not time.
