I’m doing better every day. Haven’t used OxyContin since I was in the hospital. Had to use a walker for about a week, but have been getting around with a cane for most of the past few days. Lots of nurses and various therapists have been stopping by, and I’ve been doing the exercises they’ve given me to do, and that has helped a lot, I’m sure. My daughter Sarah leaves for home in Illinois tomorrow, and I have followup visit with my doctor on Monday, but right now, I’m doing just fine.

Haven’t been reading any of the blogs for about a month now. So sorry to read of your health issues but very happy to know that you’re nearly ready for an Argentinian Tango! I can barely do “The Twist” these days.

Sounds like you are making good progress. Jackie was very wary of the oxy even six years ago, though the idiot doctor in the rehab place (he was so clueless that he asked her how her hip was doing. Great, but I had a knee replacement, moron!) was more than willing to hand over a huge stash of pills when she checked out. We dumped most of them.

Great. I sailed through my back surgery last year the same way. Still have an almost full bottle of pain pills.
