One of the features, you might say, of the early years of this blog, were posts noting the passing of various mystery writers as they left us.
I’m not sure exactly why. but it’s been a long time since I’ve done one of these. A number of factors have been responsible. but the primary one has been the lack of time to do these obituary-like posts in a timely (!) fashion, and to do it well.
I’m not sure if or when I’ll do another, but this particular author and his choice of a leading detective caught my eye. It’s a series of books I knew nothing about before.
I don’t know if I’ll ever read one, but I’d certainly like to.
