My good friend Richard Meli has just sent me images of two pieces of art for which he’d like to know the artist. Perhaps someone seeing this can help identify her or him:
There is some resemblance in style to the artist who did this cover for the British edition of the book The Bang Bang Birds, by Adam Diment:

Steve thank you so much. BTW I may be showing my age but think the Adam Diment Novels are a fun read.

Rich, You’re right. Adam Diment’s spy novels are spoofy and a lot of fun to read. It’s too bad they never made a movie of any of them.

Agreed on the Diment novels. There is a complex and interesting history of why there was no third Philip McAlpine novel and what happened to Diment. Sadly, I don’t know all the details but you can probably Google his name and find the story.
Re the art, no idea who the artist is, but both look to me as if they might be poster art for films rather than book covers since they are wrap-around and the areas left blank look more like posters than book covers.

I agree with you about the two pieces looking like poster art rather than for book covers. Rich hasn’t told me anything about that, either way.

On Diment he basically just dropped out of sight after having a great time with his celebrity. He did reappear years ago living in Kent I think.
The gentleman whom I’m selling it for said he had the book for it but doesn’t anymore. I don’t know I haven’t gotten close. BTW do you guys think the artists for the Diment novel is the same as this one?
