I stumbled onto Dan J. Marlowe a few years ago and have become a big fan. I have 20 of his books. I have searched the web for pictures of Marlowe, but with no luck. Do you have a picture of him, or could you direct me to a website that does?
Thank you very much.

There’s a photo of Marlowe on the back cover of the triple-decker Gold Medal collection coming from Stark House in April. The Marlowe novel included is THE VENGEANCE MAN.

Hi. I did the introduction of Marlowe’s The Vengeance Man for Stark House Press. You can see his photo on my website (in the blog area) at http://www.hardboiledjournalist.com/blog/
The same photo accompanies my article on Marlowe: MYSTERY MAN, at the website Noir Originals.

Hi Charles
Don’t know why, but this post doesn’t mention a later one where I included the photo. See https://mysteryfile.com/blog/?p=72.
How’s the biography of Marlowe coming along?
Best
Steve
PS. For everyone else, if you’d like to read a terrific mini-version summary of Marlowe’s life, follow the link to MYSTERY MAN that I added to the comment Charles left.

Bump!
Sorry to crash your thread. I just stumbled onto this after looking at some of my old paperbacks, and started looking for information on some of the authors of the hard-boiled stories I’ve always loved.
Dan J. Marlowe, Donald E. Westlake, John D. MacDonald (and others) have always been tops
I just wanted access to read more of this forum.
Thanks,
