Just in case anyone is interested, yes, I’m OK. Doing fine, all things considered. The lack of regular posting by me here is a lot simpler than that. The last month or so, I’ve just been very very busy. Busier now than when I was working for living. The second half of the month should be a lot better here than the first, I promise you that. Will be doing my best, anyway!

Hey man, you’ve been doing the lord’s work (Jack Lord) an awfully long time. Giving us fun content to read whilst the rest of the world goes ablaze. No pressure. Just admiration and enjoyment. All without ads! For what more could a poor pulp bibliophile wish?

Tony–Jack Lord’s work was keeping his hair just-so while wearing a three-piece suit in Honolulu–I have to wonder how much hairspray/lacquer had to be added to fight the sweat, and to get mad at any actor (Ed Begley, Jr. once noted amusingly) who would pronounce McGarrett (the name of Lord’s character on HAWAII FIVE-O) as “mick-garrett” rather than Lord’s preferred “muh-garrett”…
